Disintegrate
Mixed media, 35 x 41 in, 2025
This piece explores the experience of disintegration through migration. Migration can feel painful and destabilizing, bringing forms of sorrow we may have never experienced before. The memories remain within us, but through that fragmentation, new parts of ourselves can emerge, parts we may never have discovered otherwise. Parts that do not belong to a single place or person, but exist uniquely within each of us.
