Crayons is a 4-minute animated short that travels through memories, showing how the perception of life changes.
From her childhood in Brazil to adulthood living in Canada, this journey is guided by a character recalling their creative expressions from each stage of life, reflecting how the world gradually lost its colour. In the present, protagonist realizes how disconnected she is from her inner child. However, a simple interaction forces her to find once more the colours they thought were lost in the past.
"Crayons" is a reminder that the joy is not stuck in the past and the present is not as bleak as we think, as long as we live and keep colouring.
